400 Jobs In West Virginia University Healthcare


Around 400 vacancies are announced as per the news release from the West Virginia University Healthcare. According to the news from University Healthcare new jobs positions are to meet the growing needs to patients and medical care in the region. 

Approximately 1300 staff have been recruited by the WVU Healthcare out of which 500 were hired upon new positions created by the university for increasing medical care needs. In the coming days 800 more jobs may be available due to pending retirement in WVU.

Interested job seekers can apply for more than 375 jobs available in the areas of clinical support, nursing, clerical, professionals and hospital services.

Since January 2012, more than 100 employees have been hired by the WVU every month through open interview.

Nursing jobs are in demand as  the WVU has hired more than 100 passing out nurses from the WVU Healthcare and 70 additional nurses have been recruited.

750 permanent jobs in WVU Healthcare will be generated in coming days which are pending approval to build a 10 story tower in MorganTown for state health care authority.
