California Institute of Technology is ranked as world's most reputed institute according to THES  / Times Higher Education Ranking system. It is better known as Caltech and founded in 1891 as a private university with the motto "The truth shall make you free" at Pasadena, California, USA. It has six academic divisions which are mainly related to engineering and sciences. University has 29 professional faculty and 1207 other staff. Total number of students at CalTech is 2231 [graduate: 1253, undergraduate: 978]. Its mascot is beaver and Athletics division NCAA Division III. Though, it is a small university but 31 Caltech faculty and alumni have won Nobel Prize and many others have won National Medal of Science or Technology, National Academies. Its long rivalry with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is well known.
