National Park Service (NPS) is a United States of America federal agency to manage national parks, conservation, national monuments, historical properties. It was established on 25th August 1916.

NPS has over 16000 permanent employees, around 3000 seasonal employees and 1256 term workers. It works under US Department of the interior. It has 397 units out of which 58 are National Parks in USA.
