IRCTC everyday books more than 3.65 lakhs Indian railway tickets which makes it largest e commerce portal in Asia Pacific. According to Alexa Ranking it is among top 500 websites in the world and among top 20 websites in India as per its popularity and uses.
In India, there are daily 150000 airline seats available and out of these 40 percent tickets are booked online. IRCTC being one of the major player in online ticketing in India and having millions of registered users is currently eyeing at 10% market share in Airline tickets online booking service industry.
