IIT Indore is a league member of Indian Institute of Technology. It was established in 2009 and it is among the 16 elite institutions in the country which are also Institutes of national importance. IITI is situated at Simrol which is almost 25 kilometers from Indore. The institute was initially mentored by IIT Bombay.
