EPFO Online Application For SSA / Social Security Assistants

Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) which works under Ministry of Labour, Government of India is headquartered in Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi has recently invited application for 1867 vacancies of Social Security Assistants and 76 sports quota vacancies in various states of India. Graduate from Indian universities and a speed of 5000 key depressions per hour is required. Those who are interested shoul apply online for these vacancies via EPFO website.

Social Security Assistants : 1867 regular posts + 76 sports quota posts distributed state wise

Age : 18 to 27 years as on 09/03/2012 [Age relaxation as per GoI rules]

Educational Qualifications : (a) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent. (b) Possessing a speed of at least 5000 Key depressions per hour for Data Entry Work, Desirable: Should possess a Computer Training Certificate from a recognised institute

Application Fee : Rs. 315/- (Rs. 90/- for SC/ST/PH candidates) to be deposited in any branch of State Bank of India through a fee payment Challan from 13/02/2012 to 08/03/2012 to be produce at the time of Written Test only.

Selection Procedure : The Recruitment process will have two stages: (i) Written examination on 15/04/2012 at various test centers across the country (multiple choice objective type – English language, test of reasoning, numerical ability, office work aptitude). (ii) Skill test to assess speed and accuracy for Data Entry Work. Minimum requirement is 5000 key depressions per hour.
