GATE is the Graudate Aptitude Test in Engineering which is conducted by one of the IIT / Indian Institute of Technology and IISC Bangalore on the rotation basis for admission into masters degree programmes in Engineering and Technology courses in colleges and universities in India. Now many foreign universities and many public sector companies have started considering the GATE Score for graduate admission and jobs in the companies as Graudate Engineer Trainee.
Candidates who have applied online for GATE 2012 examination can visit the website to know your application status and other information about the examination. You can visit the web to know about the subjects / syllabus for examination etc.
GATE 2012 Admit Card will be uploaded on the website in the month of January and Candidates will be able to download their GATE Admit Card / Hall Tickets from 2nd January 2012 onward. No hall tickets will be send to the candidates. Applicants should brind the admit card along with atlead one original and valid photo identification like Passport, Driving License, PAN Card, College ID, Voter ID, Employee IdentificationCard etc. Candidates without admit card will not be allowed to appear in the examination.

- GATE 2012 Online Examination Papers AE, AG and MN: 29 January 2012 (14:00 Hrs to 17:00 Hrs)
- GATE Offline Examination: 12 February 2012
Results will be announced on 15th March 2012
